Coracera Castle

Monastery of Santa María la Real

A place of serenity and spirituality dating from the 13th century.

This monastery is the most important monastic foundation of the Cistercian Order preserved in the Community of Madrid.

Among its well-kept ruins you can discover and walk through its cloisters and gardens, to connect with its history and the peace that emanates from the place.

The monastery is open for visits on saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00. Guided tours will take place at 11:00

Sierra de Gredos Natural Park

Charming Villages Route

Visit the charming villages that dot the area, such as Cadalso de los Vidrios, Cenicientos, Las Rozas de Puerto Real or the spectacular chestnut grove of Casillas. In addition, very close by are the incredible villages of the Sierra de Gredos, already in the lands of Avila, such as Piedralaves, La Adrada or El Tiemblo among others.
